Dr. Deepak Agarwal, DO MPH, is an interventional pain management specialist at Synergex Med, currently seeing patients in the Bay Area.
He focuses on helping patients reduce their pain and become more active participants in their lives. He is passionate about proven, evidence-based methods for relieving pain and discomfort, ranging from lifestyle and diet modifications to cutting-edge neuromodulation.
Dr. Agarwal completed his Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served as the Chief Fellow. He completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the Cleveland Clinic, publishing multiple papers and presenting at numerous conferences along the way. He also served as the residency research coordinator for two years, guiding his colleagues to pursue scholastic endeavors to further the fields of Anesthesia and Pain Management.
He graduated from the A.T. Still University, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he developed a special interest in how structure and function are irrevocably interrelated and became determined to always have a holistic approach to patient care. Dr. Agarwal is an active member of the North American Neuromodulation Society, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
