Dr Michael Garcia

Dr. Michael Garcia is a board-certified psychiatrist with specialized training in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. After completing his medical education at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine, Dr. Garcia pursued advanced training through his psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship.

With extensive experience across diverse clinical settings—including academic medical centers, county hospitals, VA facilities, and private practice—Dr. Garcia brings comprehensive expertise in evaluating and treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions. His clinical work encompasses trauma-related disorders, mood and anxiety disorders, and complex psychiatric presentations following injury.

Dr. Garcia’s background in neuroscience research and his bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish enable him to provide culturally sensitive and evidence-based psychiatric assessments. His expertise is particularly valuable in evaluating the psychological impact of injuries and determining appropriate treatment recommendations for personal injury cases.
